Welcome to Greener Future Youth! We are thrilled to have you as part of our mission to protect and preserve the environment. This document outlines the guidelines and policies that all volunteers are expected to follow while participating in our programs and activities. These guidelines ensure a safe, productive, and positive experience for everyone involved.

• Respect: Volunteers are expected to treat all individuals, including fellow volunteers, staff, and community members, with respect, kindness, and courtesy.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor at all times. This includes being punctual, responsible, and reliable in fulfilling volunteer commitments.
• Inclusivity: We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
• Safety: Volunteers must adhere to all safety guidelines provided during activities. Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to a staff member immediately.

• Attendance: Volunteers are expected to attend all scheduled shifts or events they have committed to. If you are unable to attend, please notify your supervisor as early as possible.
• Communication: Keep open lines of communication with your supervisor. Inform them of any challenges, suggestions, or feedback you may have.
• Confidentiality: Volunteers must respect the privacy of others and maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive information they may encounter while volunteering.
• Representation: As a volunteer, you represent Greener Future Youth. Please act in a manner that reflects our values and mission at all times.

• Appropriate Attire: Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing for the activities they are participating in. This may include branded apparel, sturdy footwear, or protective gear if required.
• Environmentally Conscious: We encourage volunteers to wear sustainable, eco-friendly clothing that aligns with our mission.

• Mandatory Training: All volunteers must complete an orientation session and any required training before participating in certain activities. This ensures that everyone is well-prepared and informed.
• Continued Learning: We encourage volunteers to take advantage of additional training opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Wellness: Volunteers should prioritize their health and well-being. If you are feeling unwell, please refrain from participating in activities until you have fully recovered.
• Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols provided during orientation and training. This includes using equipment safely, following instructions from supervisors, and adhering to COVID-19 guidelines if applicable.
• Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures for each location where you volunteer. In case of an emergency, follow the instructions of your supervisor.

• Proper Use: Volunteers are responsible for the proper use and care of any tools or equipment provided by Greener Future Youth. Misuse or damage of equipment may result in restrictions on future use.
• Return of Equipment: All tools and equipment must be returned in good condition at the end of your volunteer shift.

• Photography Consent: Volunteers may be photographed or recorded during events and activities. By participating, you consent to the use of these images or videos for promotional purposes.
• Personal Photography: If you wish to take photos during your volunteer work, please ensure that it does not interfere with your duties or the privacy of others. Share your photos with us on social media using our official hashtags!

• Open Dialogue: We value your feedback! Volunteers are encouraged to share their experiences, suggestions, and ideas with us to help improve our programs.
• Surveys and Reviews: Periodically, we may ask volunteers to complete surveys or provide reviews to assess their experiences and identify areas for improvement.

• Voluntary Termination: Volunteers may choose to end their service at any time. We request that you provide notice to your supervisor so we can plan accordingly.
• Involuntary Termination: Greener Future Youth reserves the right to terminate a volunteer’s service for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these guidelines, misconduct, or failure to fulfill volunteer responsibilities.
